We are looking to recruit a Manager/Strategic Initiatives & Transformation Track

Principal Functions:

• Plan, monitor and effectively deliver on multiple projects within the initiative portfolio in a cost-effective manner
• Responsible for working with program and initiative stakeholders to ensure delivery of multiple projects
• Responsible for managing SPMO Project Managers on allocated projects

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversees the execution of allocated projects by ensuring that each project is monitored and the status is reported accurately.
• Establishes relationships with project teams to ensure delivery of high quality projects on time.
• Reviews and analyzes the status of allocated projects on the business side.
• Reviews and analyzes all project risks and issues and oversees measures to mitigate them while escalating major risks to SPMO Director.
• Reviews project change requests to ensure complete understanding of the request and assesses whether it is critical and approves project level changes if deemed necessary while escalating critical changes to the SPMO Manager.
• Oversees the overall resourcing for all projects in SPMO (Business).
• Oversees the Quality Assurance process across all allocated projects.
• Prepares regular reports on the progress of initiatives within the SPMO and prepare for presenting them to Management.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors in Telecommunications / Engineering or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of experience in Project Management/PMO function.
